Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our framing materials, UGX pricing, sizes, and Kampala delivery.

What wood species and materials are used in Binomugisha frames?
We craft our frames using premium seasoned East African hardwoods such as Mvule, Mahogany, and Teak, alongside architectural-grade anodized aluminum profiles. Each wooden frame undergoes kiln-drying and organic anti-insect treatment before hand-finishing with matte lacquers, natural beeswax, or leaf gilding.
How does the UGX pricing structure work for custom sizes?
Our standard pricing starts at 50,000 UGX for A4 prints, 100,000 - 150,000 UGX for A3, 300,000 - 380,000 UGX for A2, and 500,000 - 650,000 UGX for statement A1 frames. Imperial sizes (such as 8x10", 12x16", 18x24", and 24x36") are priced proportionally. Pricing includes high-clarity 2mm float glass or anti-glare museum acrylic, backing board, and stainless steel hanging hardware.
Can I bring or send my own photo / artwork for printing and framing?
Yes. You can send your high-resolution photos via WhatsApp (+256 756 180429) or email. We offer museum-quality archival fine art printing on 310gsm cotton rag paper and canvas stretching alongside custom framing.
What is the typical turnaround time for custom frames in Kampala?
Standard orders are handcrafted and delivered within 2 to 4 business days across Kampala, Entebbe, and Wakiso. Express 24-hour turnaround is available upon request for urgent gifting or exhibition deadlines.
Do you offer doorstep delivery and professional wall mounting in Kampala?
Yes, we provide secure doorstep courier delivery throughout greater Kampala, Entebbe, and upcountry Uganda. For homes, corporate offices, and galleries, we also provide professional laser-leveled wall mounting and multi-piece gallery installation services upon request.
